Rogerian-style argument

What is Rogerian-style argument? Rogerian argument is a conflict solving technique babsed on finding common groud instea of polarizing debate. College writing often is an "argument" in which you share knowledge that you have gained from inquiring into a subject. These arguments are based on the knowledge you have gained from reading. Argument is often understood in terms of being an adversarial dispute in which one side is attempting to defeat the other. Before you know how to write a Rogerian argument, you should first know what it is, as I mentioned above. Rogerian argument is also called the "common ground" argument because thia method requires you to iudentify the ideas, beliefs and arguments you and your audience share in common. Therefore, is that you and your audience share common ideas, beliefs and arguments.
