blogging in the class
At first when I started this class I said to myself that
"how am I going to make it through?" Blogging? Oh no. I was in doubt,
because Lord knows it has been a long time, since I stopped writing on my journal
book. . Which I still have from High school days. But once I got the hang of
it, I notice that I can't stop blogging in the class, Professor Hamon says to
post 1 blog each day, but sometimes I really want to post more than one so I
went back to my journal book and starts to write again. I'm so proud of myself
that I made it throughout the course, Now that it's coming to an end. I must
say that I may not have the time to blog on the net, but I know for sure I will
be writing on my journal every chance I get, even though my schedule is upside
down at the moment with school and work is on the way, but most definitely I
will blog once in a while. And I enjoyed reading/comment on my classmates blogs,
well most of them. And I appreciate the feedbacks I get from them also. This is
my 28th posts. OMG I did it, so can you:)

Being sick. . . :"(
For the past 5 days I have been sick with the flu and I HATE it soooo much, I mean who love being sick? NOBODY. Yeah that is right. I don't usually get sick, but when I do? It's terrible and such a disaster. I hate everything about it. And I feel hopeless too at it, because I feel weak and at times I get so emotional, especially when I can't get certain things done myself and that's when I start to think about my Mother, who passed away 6 years ago. Ugh! But I cannot do anything about it, but being the big girl that I am and handle myself like she taught me to. I went to work this morning and I got sent home. . . Why? Because I kept on coughing and I lost my voice. First time experiencing this sickness, but I hope that I get better real soon, I hate the fact that I'm missing work and school. NOT COOL!

Google + in the class
To be honest, I never used Google + in my life before, till I came across this course and I am glad that I got to learn so much about it. I never knew that I could do so much on there and it is very interesting. I love the fact that I get to comment on my classmates post and they get to comment on my posts. Thanks to professor Hamon for helping me discovered Google + and Google Drive in the class. And what it is all about. I'm back to being in love with writing again after such a long time. And I'm looking forward to learn as much as I can, As I continue on my Journey here at South University.

Judgemental
The way that I see the world could make you cry, because I see it out of a
set of blind eyes. If you knew where I was brought up and where I was raised
from all that chatting and chatting would have became none. You would've
said "Damn I didn't know that? She acts like she's so shy. Who knew she was so nice? I am Kind to whoever I meet, because I don't know how many obstacles they have to defeat.
Never do I judge and never do I fear, because I never know if my time is
near. You can look at someone and never know what they go through, but just
remember someone always has it worse than you.

Fighting
You know that feeling? When you're just waiting. Waiting to get home, into your room, close the door, fall into bed, and just let everything out that you kept in all day. That feeling of both relief and desperation. Nothing is wrong, but nothing is right either and you're tired. Tired of everything, tired of nothing and you just want someone to be there and tell you it's okay, but no one's going to be there. And you know you have to be strong for yourself, because no one can fix you, but you're tired of waiting. Tired of having to be the one to fix yourself and everyone else. Tired of being strong and for once, you just want it to be easy. To be simple. To be helped. To be saved, but you know you won't be., but you're still hoping. And you're still wishing. And you're still staying strong and fighting, with tears in your eyes.

The way I feel . . .
Honestly I think us Black people, well most of us can be the most prejudice people in the world. . . We claim we want respect from other cultures, but yet we always categorize each other. This "Lightskin/Darkskin", "You're not Black enough", "You act white" crap has to stop. Having an afro or natural does not mean you can talk down to someone who gets relaxers. Just because someone speaks with intelligence & wants an education does not make them "white", Being "light skinned" with long hair does not make you superior to someone with darker skin and kinky hair. Fact is, if it were 1850 we would all be "nigg*rs" regardless of income, skin color, hair or heritage. We would all still be owned by someone, we all still would've had to work for the "white man" who breed us to this "lighter" or "darker" tone that we know today. How come we were all the same back then, but now it's like we are "races" within a race?

Don't judge the book by its cover
A
lot of people seem to just judge people on what they see on the outside and
never on what they see or know are in the inside. ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME, YOU,
AND EVERYONE ELSE. So if you don't walk in my shoes don't ever plan to tell me
about myself on things you see or hear. So
don't assume that you know someone
until you really get to know them, like I did nor judge anyone by what you hear
or see and think you know until you have walked a mile in their shoes or take
time to know them.

Rogerian-style argument
What is
Rogerian-style argument? Rogerian argument is a conflict solving technique
babsed on finding common groud instea of polarizing debate. College writing
often is an "argument" in which you share knowledge that you have
gained from inquiring into a subject. These arguments are based on the
knowledge you have gained from reading. Argument is often understood in terms
of being an adversarial dispute in which one side is attempting to defeat the
other. Before you know how to write a Rogerian argument, you should first know
what it is, as I mentioned above. Rogerian argument is also called the
"common ground" argument because thia method requires you to
iudentify the ideas, beliefs and arguments you and your audience share in
common. Therefore, is that you and your audience share common ideas, beliefs
and arguments.

What I hate the most
Ever wonder why people text or call you when they are in need? Well I really HATE that about people alot, literally like whatever happened to the other days when you don't need me? I'm very nice and caring and all, but I do not like when people try to take advantage of it. As if I'm blind to see what they're up to. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness. Don’t take my kindness for granted because after enough time of being walked on you get tired of being nice. Doesn’t mean you are thinking about killing them. Maybe it just means you will be walking away and anyone who ever had to just walk away knows its the furthest thing from being weak. It takes much strength to just walk away after.

Keep it real with me or carry on
I may get hurt by being told the truth, but I rather that than to be comforted by a lie. Understand that some people tell you what you want to hear not wanting to hurt your feelings, but deep down inside they know you're about to fall. the person who truly cares for you will tell you what you need to hear, because they want the best for you whether you like it or not. They rather you get mad now and appreciate their honesty later than to see you about to fall in a hole and let you. These are the kind of friends I want to have.

The truth
Don't be Naive. . . Some people will remember you only when they need you. Not every person you talk to is your FRIEND. Some people will act as if they care, but you would be surprise to hear the things that they say behind your back. Don't expect more than someone is willing to give you, because that will only lead disappointments. Guard your heart, keep your circle small, watch what you tell people, and some things ALWAYS stay personal. You may not like it, but this is life and you can always learn the hard way.

What's on my mind.....
Everyone hate the sight of a caterpillar crawling on the floor, but enjoy seeing the sight of that same caterpillar as a beautiful butterfly. So it's okay if you are not there yet. You may be shoved to the side and forgotten but, I promise you just when the caterpillar thought its life was over it became a beautiful butterfly. Through adversity you learn who you truly are, what you are capable of and the strength that you never thought you had. Are you able to stay positive in the midst of it all? Only strong minds can. What I'm trying to say is that your time will come, just be patient and wait for your turn :)

food for thought...
Before you feel like you should have a say in someone else life, ask yourself these questions. Are you paying their bills? Are you there whenever they need you? Did they even ask you for any advice? Well if the answer is no then you really don't have a say in their life now do you. This world is upside down. What used to be wrong is now the norm. People stop following God, but follow each other. Every day you hear some disturbing news. But it shouldn't be a surprise. This is just the beginning of the end.
Doc 2 topic
As I'm in the process of this assignment I notice that the topic is quite interesting and think that my classmates are going to enjoy it as well also. The assignment will allow us to provide peer feedback to each other and respond to feedback we receive and this'll show the professor of how much we've learned in this class. With flipped classrooms, the challenges become and this encourages a dialogue on student work and focuses on the process. It is also ensures that we receive feedback regularly. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to provide ongoing feedback.

professional blogger handles purpose & voice
Purpose is the reason for writing, focusing on your purpose as you begin writing helps you know what form to choose, how to focus and organize your writing and what kinds of evidence to cite. Who says that professional blogging is tough? It is not at all hard to become a blogger, but there is a simple catch. You must dedicate yourself completely to become one, then you won't face any hurdles between you and your blogging success. You have to test yourself in the world of blogging to see whether it has something for you or not. That's my advice.

Writer's Voice
What is it to me? To me, your writer's voice is the expression of you on the page. Your voice is all about honesty. It's the unique of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, fears, and attitudes coming through every word you write. you are unique. You aren’t exactly like anyone else. I think it’s because most of us spend our lives presenting to the world anything and everything except who we really are. We present images of who we want to be. We show the world what we want them to see. We expend lots of energy upholding our facades, and in the process, we can lose touch with our true, unique selves. Many of us are afraid of real, total, gut wrenching honesty. I also think one of our biggest problems is that we’ve been media consumers since the day we were born. So how do you find your voice? You can’t learn it, you can’t copy it. Voice isn’t a matter of studying. You have to find it and the only place to find it is within you.

"My favorite quote"
"You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind." - Joyce Meyer
This is one of my favorite quotes and here's why. . .
I love this quote, because it means something to me; it means what you think, you become. If you focus on negative things, you are more likely to have a negative life. If on the other hand, you choose to focus on positive things your life can become positive. For example: what if you tried something new, and replaced negative words with positive words? How long would it take for you to create a habit of positive self-talk? Not as long as you might think. It does not take years of practice. If you are ready to change your mindset and focus on positivity and goals, rather than negativity, then go for it. It does not cost a thing to gain self-confidence and to build a positive life. You can do this, but only if you believe it. Change how you think. Change your reality.

"Writing in a group"
I do not like writing in groups..... Here's why: don’t get me wrong, I’ve been in some wonderful groups with fabulous people, who are brilliant, not to mention of fun to hang out with. Frankly, I don’t think you could find better groups. Yet I did not enjoy them, It turns out that sitting in a room with a bunch of people taking turns to tell me what they do and don’t like about what I’ve written is my idea of hell. I hated it for several reasons, but I have seen it happen in very well-balanced groups as well. I do not find it healthy or helpful. I get to the point where I understand what they’re saying much quicker when the comments are written rather than verbal. It’s less intense and less confronting.
The flipped classroom technique
"In a flipped classroom" to build that knowledge, students are given a "coverage assignment such as going through a reading, watching a video or another activity and is to develop a formative assessment, consisting of two conceptual questions and one feedback question. A good conceptual question directs us to the kind of thinking you want us to be doing. Us students should not be able to answer conceptual questions if we haven't done the assignment. These questions typically aren't a matter of memorization; they require more analytical thought.
